Several different methods exist to test the density of a plastic or polymer material. Some polymer testing labs
have opted to use a method called 'Density by Gas Pycnometer' and follows the procedures outlined in ISO 1183-3.
Test Method ISO 1183-3 allows for the accurate density measurement of powders, odd-shaped solids, pellets, and small finished part.
